i started the new job yesterday...Keith was my dude-training-me...it was pretty cool...not like working at all, just hanging out or something...then again, i just followed him around and watched him and didn't do anything anyway...after that we met Kerry at Huey's downtown and eventually Paul and Justin showed up before Paul had to be dropped off at the bus station...actually we (Keith, Kerry, and i) were there for quite a good while...then we dispersed, Keith and i went back to Brad's and the three of us went out to Wal-Mart in West Memphis...it was a rollickin' good time...i purchased: a pair of boxers (black) w/ shiney flames on 'em...sweet, a vhs tape of Revenge of the Nerds IV: Nerds in Love...sweet, a Simpsons Trivia game...sweet, and a sweet Simpsons poster...sweet...afterwards, back at Brad's, Keith and i sat up for a few hours having a nice talk...the sun had come up by the time i started home...i worked again today...almost got in trouble for not wearing a proper shirt (Keith had not informed me of the rules for proper attire), but Little Mike borrowed me one of his hippie tie-dyed North End shirts...Russell, the driver scheduled to close, didn't show up so i ended up having to close...it was pretty sucky 'cuz the whole time i was working i was trying to figure out what i'm supposed to be doing...of course the actual driving part is nothing, but The North End has a huge fucking menu so taking orders and bagging orders and such is pretty overwhelming at first...especially when you're kind've being dumped into it...but i guess i managed alright...at one point i did loose a customer 'cuz their order was all complicated and i couldn't find what they were asking for on the computer i kept looking but i couldn't find it and i told her i was sorry 'cuz it's my first day then she changed her mind 'cuz they didn't want their order messed up...well, less hassle for me i guess...now it's done and i'm home...woo...hoo...
