Art Opening

Got a cd in the mail: Slow Blink: To Those Who Wait (she's been active with the cd releases lately!). Then in the evening I went up to Crosstown for a big art opening. Karl's part of the exhibit with Lawrence Matthews (!) and Wiley Henry. Karl had three of his videos in the little video room, a few drawings on the wall in the atrium, and three little video loops in the atrium where they always have the little video loops. So pretty cool! It was packed as openings always are. Saw quite a few people I know, unsurprisingly. Talked to Karl and Gretchen a good bit and Graham (especially) and Laura. Afterwards, those four and myself walked over to the Brewery and hung out for a little bit more.
