The Day!

I forgot to mention in the last post that I took the day off for our anniversary (that helped facilitate the time making the breakfast-in-bed!). So overall we had a pretty relaxed day. Other than what I mentioned before, we went to the park in the afternoon. We walked around the old forest then around the pond and sat for a while at a bench next to the pond enjoying the nice weather and the view. Then we sat for a while on a blanket on the greensward as the sun set. I read some to Mary Beth from the Tom Robbins book I'm currently reading and so we both laughed at the embarrassingly cringey lines that came up. Anyway, it was a good ol' anniversary time!
