In the afternoon, Mary Beth and I went to the Dixon. We wandered around the gardens and then went inside. There's no main exhibit right now (in between). But the local exhibit was really good, these two artists who were at MCA and work with paper a lot. Good stuff. Because the main exhibit halls were closed, you had to go outside and enter the permanent exhibit through another door (never gone through that door, how exciting!). While in that part (they've got some newer acquisitions out), I saw Amogh walk by the window outside. Back outside later tried to see if I could run into him again but wasn't able. Coming home we stopped by The Fresh Market for a few things. Then I went over to Laura and Graham's place to have a little catch-up on the Electroacoustic thing with Laura since she'd missed the rehearsal with everyone else. Her violin playing was really good! So I just went through it roughly and conducted while she played and just made sure she was used to my cues and stuff. Now I took a day off 'cuz I'm going to be on the radio in the afternoon. Whew. Okay.
