Ballet and Birthday

Mary Beth and I went to see Ballet Memphis's Winter Mix over at Playhouse on the Square. It was a good show with three of their own in-house pieces. After that I went by myself to Suroor's birthday show. I was dumb at first and went to the wrong venue and got there and was pulling out my phone to pay when I had a hunch that maybe this was the wrong show and I should actually check the flyer and sure enough! So then I went to the correct venue (DKDC) and went to the show. I missed the first band. But I saw Suroor's set. The fucking place was packed to fuck. DKDC is small, but this was a huge crowd packed in. And when she was done, the roar of the crowd cheering was about as deafening as it gets. Then there was going to be a dj playing after that so I split and went home like the old man I am. What else? Shortly after I posted about it yesterday, that listchallenges site was back up. Haven't felt the need to be on it much but I guess it's good it didn't just completely die off.
