I got in the mail Beautiful Star by Yukio Mishima. There was lore about this book for decades because in college Mary Beth had gone to some lecture or something and there was a professor there who had translated this sci-fi novel of Mishima's but it wasn't published, just would pass around copies or something, and it had never been published in English at all. So I was all super intrigued by this novel it seemed like I'd never be able to read. Well, it finally got published in English like two years ago (probably not the same translation mentioned above) and I missed it until I saw something about it in passing and was like, wait! That's the one! (I got a little psyched out a few years before that when his novella Star got published (similar title but about a movie "star") until I realized it wasn't the same thing. Anyway, happy to finally have it. Later at night Mary Beth and I watched another Marlon Riggs short called Affirmations. That's about it for now.
