At night Mary Beth and I went out to Little Italy in East Memphis (outside the loop). Before leaving, I went to the restroom and the guy coming out before me, a younger guy with lots of tattoos, called me "sir" so that's a weird thing to make me feel older! We made a brief stop at TFM on the way home. We hung out with Peanut for a good while outside. It's crazy how almost on-the-dot the weather change is feeling. I'm in that stage where I'm wearing shorts and short sleeves as I'm still used to it, but probably could wear something warmer now, but it's at least on the edge enough to not feel too uncomfortable either way. But the biggest weather indication was Peanut was all geared up for us to sit down so she could sit on our laps and cuddle us and even let us pet her a good bit. (Pets have been mostly off-limits for a good while during the warmer months, though she acted like she wanted us to get close and present our hands, but just in a biting and scratching but this-is-just-how-i-show-my-affection way, so it's fun when Peanut gets back to cuddle-affection mode.) I've just recently started trying to update the dates acquired/started/finished for my books in librarything by going back through this here journal through those years between starting the journal and starting librarything. Tedious and nerdy and I guess the kind of thing that gets me going.
