After work yesterday I met Mary Beth up at Overton Park and we looked at the little baby turtles in the pond! On the way back home we stopped at this new witchy shop just off Overton Square (I'm forgetting the name now). Upstairs in their room for rituals, they had a theremin along with the hand drums. I came back home to a package: Electronic Music: Systems, Techniques, and Controls by Allen Strange! My order from the Kickstarter drive came through! It's a very special reprint of the classic text (second edition, of course) and I'm pretty pumped about it. Had been watching out for this book for a long time so I'm super happy that someone made it available again. Then later at night we watched Thelma & Louise which I hadn't ever seen before.
