Root Beer

Yesterday I got Yo La Tengo: This Stupid World in the mail. In the evening Mary Beth and I went out to try the root beer at Meddlesome Brewing Company as they make their own. It's out in Cordova and I had a little trepidation as they're the ones that make that beer with the godawful name 201 Hoplar, but I guess I'm willing to put up with a bit to try a locally made soft drink. They had the DimSum food truck there so we got some of that and we tried their root beer and cream soda. They were pretty good. The root beer had some good flavors though could have stood to be a whole lot fizzier. I probably wouldn't make the drive out again, but hey it was a nice experience. And the weather was pretty lovely while we were out on the deck in that weird business park. (And a big windy storm came just as we were coming back home, a few blocks from our house.)
