I didn't do a whole lot yesterday. I had kind of a slow start. In the late afternoon Mary Beth and I went for a walk. At night I finished reading Mouth to Mouth by Antoine Wilson. It wasn't very good. The writing was pretty bad (not the WORST thing, but not good and had a lot of unnecessary filler) and the story was pretty bland and the whole thing felt pretty pointless. It tried to set up an unreliable narrator sort of the thing but the whole approach was pretty sloppy (in the beginning, throwing out one small clue that points towards "forgetful" sort of unreliable, but then at the end the Big Revelation (which was predictable and not really that big anyway) showed him to be the "deceitful" (more-or-less) sort of unreliable). The dialog, especially in the frame story (the setting in which the one person is telling the other person his life story, which takes up the narrative thrust), is pretty bad and pointless and the other narrator (who is the writer the other person is telling the story to) just says the most bland and pointless crap to "move" the story along and to make the book stick to the whole "conversation" frame since that's what it started with but, yeah, anyway, it's not good and I'm kind of rambling now so I'll shut up.
