Whittle

Yesterday Mary Beth and I picked up some Five Guys burgers for lunch and it was very very delicious. And later in the day I worked on my lyrics for "Anthropocene" and was finally able to shave off two lines to get it to a normal length (been thinking about it all week, figured instead of just cutting one set of two lines out, there were probably two that could be whittled down and combined, and I finally got it puzzled out and everything rearranged yesterday, so was happy with that!). Not a whole lot else. We were going to go to Matt's birthday party last night but Mary Beth wasn't feeling well and we just stayed in instead but it was a nice night inside anyway. I did get a message last night from someone I know through music but not very well personally and they didn't seem to be doing well (not in any blatant self-harm sort of way, just guilt over perceived past "mistakes" that really weren't all that big a deal anyway yet the outsized reaction makes me feel things might not be going well for them). Anyway, I tried to be reassuring and hope I succeeded some.
