I got some cds in the mail yesterday. The first were the last stragglers from my Christmas gift card haul: The BBC Radiophonic Workshop: Four Albums 1968 - 1978 and Conrad Schnitzler: Gold. Then there was just another order of a few cheap things: Paul Haslinger: Halt and Catch Fire Volume 2, Bruce Anderson: Brutality, and Diamanda Galás: Vena Cava. Then I went up to the modular meetup! This time it was hosted at Josh's physical workspace at the work co-op thing that's in the former library on Highland. It was fun. We just went around looking at each other's modular stuff and being dorky. Who was there? Josh (of course), Dustin, Berkay, and Ben and Chris (the two guys who had started it before). Nate also showed up a bit later. This time I actually brought my stuff. When I got there, I could see even worse in the florescent lighting that my gear was so damn dusty (I mean, I already KNEW it but it looked even worse there!). I really need to be better about putting the damn covers on the cases after I'm done. I always do that and always clean it up and always say I'll never do that again! After that, since I was in the neighborhood I picked up a bunch of eggrolls from Wang's. Mary Beth and I ate them while watching Golden Girls.
