Spare Change

Yesterday was the first Friday I worked in quite a while. I at least had a little spare change of vacation time left over from the pro-rated mid-year bump into the next bracket. I mean, it was less than an hour but I took it and took just a little bit off early yesterday. Mary Beth and I went on a walk in that opened-up afternoon. We had to dodge a bunch of cars running through that little block of neighborhood as there seemed to be a wreck or something at the busy intersection at the corner they were all trying to avoid. I got some cds in the mail from Important Records: Harry Bertoia: Experimental I/Mechanical/Long Sounds I, Harry Bertoia: Clear Sounds/Perfetta, Merzbow: Suzume: 13 Japanese Birds Pt. 1, Merzbow: Fukurou: 13 Japanese Birds Pt. 2, and Merzbow: Yurikamome: 13 Japanese Birds Pt. 3. (I finally rounded out all the 13 Japanese Birds series! And I guess I can arrange them on my shelf so that the spines all spell out the Japanese characters or whatever, when I shelve them.) Okay, what else? At night Mary Beth and I watched a little Kids in the Hall and then a lot of She-Ra. Okay, there ya go.
