Love Dead. Hate Living.
Nov. 27th, 2022 09:48 amYesterday Mary Beth and I got some lunch from Fino's (we actually got extra sandwiches to stretch it out two days, so more today!). We ate while having a thematic movie marathon. First we watched The Bride of Frankenstein. I'd never seen it, and while a lot of it had that old movie thing of well, being corny, it did have some moments that I liked a lot. Then we watched Gods and Monsters and it was good. Then later I finished reading The Moor's Last Sigh by Salman Rushdie. It was pretty good, though it kind of felt like a more rote hash of the devices used in his other books with a little something missing.
