Days

So yesterday was my birthday. I got a few things from Mary Beth throughout the day. A couple Kids in the Hall shirts: one from that sketch in the new season of the sign that says "employees must wash hair before pooping" and another that's a general Kids in the Hall shirt. Then I got a set of refrigerator magnet poetry words thing en español. So I'm excited for a little motivation to look at more Spanish words! I was hoping I was getting over this covid shit but I took a test and I'm still positive. I have this damn lingering cough that I hope doesn't stick around too long. I reached out to Scott about it and he had been considering pushing the show back a week due to the heatwave and concerns that the a/c unit in the warehouse space wouldn't be enough to combat it. So it's all working out and the show is being pushed back a week. So hopefully THAT give me enough time to get off it. Since we were in the same boat as before, we went ahead and ordered some more food via door dash, this time from Interstate BBQ. Got the wonderful sampler platter but oh my god it's so much, I think last time we must have split it, I was overstuffed feeling barely eating half of it (but hey, that means more of it today!). Inspired by my new shirts, we watched a bunch of Kids in the Hall last night. Oh and Anthony called me and I got to talk to him on the phone for a little bit! It was a mighty fine, lazy birthday and I enjoyed it immensely.
