Duty

I got a few cds in the mail yesterday: Patrick Cowley: Mechanical Fantasy Box, Patrick Cowley: Some Funkettes, and Jeff & Jane Hudson: Flesh. The fun story is in the shipment of the package! I had watched it go from San Francisco -> Los Angeles -> Memphis -> San Francisco -> Los Angeles -> Memphis. Anyway, later at night Mary Beth and I watched a bunch of Hilda. I forgot to mention earlier that for the month of June Mary Beth was on standby for federal jury duty. I'd never experienced that one, just local. For this they're on call the whole month and have to call in every evening (business days) and listen to a recording to see if they have to come in the next day. Mary Beth never got called in, but spent the whole month ready in case she had to go in. It's kind of a weird system!
