Fuck

Well, so yesterday sucked, as you well know. I guess it's good we were prepared and knew it was coming, but it still hits. And that piece-of-shit Thomas announcing what more he hops is coming (which, again, is obvious, but at least it doesn't give anyone an excuse to ignore this shit). Well, anyway, fuck America. Fuck the Supreme Court. Other than that!, I went out to a show last night and it was good. It was an art exhibition and the artist has these sculptures of cables and contact mics that are wired up and you can hit them and stuff and it makes sound and it's cool. Ihcilon played first and he was awesome as always; I mean, it was a really fantastic set. Then it was Sci Fi Industries and that was one of his best sets too, so happy I do get to see him again before he's gone! And The Pop Ritual were last and they were good too. Yeah, talked to a good number of people, including a guy from Boston who happened to be passing through and looked up noise and experimental music in Memphis and found Paul and me and probably some others online. I talked to Scott, the artist. He had messaged me last week also about performing at the exhibit sometime within the month. We should be following up some more about it next week. And seeing the show first let me get some ideas on it. Got to sleep a bit late last night. Rough day/night and all.
