The Future

Yesterday I went and saw Crimes of the Future with Jacques. First time I've seen a movie in a regular theater in forever! It's kinda weird that tickets are reserved by seat now, but whatever. The movie was good. Not Cronenberg's best, but I think I may like it more the more I think on it. There's a lot of gaps in what it revels to you, so I don't think I've totally wrapped my head around everything. After the movie Jacques and I stood outside the theater for almost an hour just talking and catching up and that was nice. When I got back, Mary Beth was still waiting on a package to be delivered that she had to sign for and she'd been itching to be outside but felt stuck waiting. So I thought we could have a little yard hang and we got the folding chair and just sat out in the front yard and the shade was in perfect position and the weather was very lovely. And after a while the mailman showed up and we were right there and it all worked out. Then we went on a walk around the neighborhood. Then at night we opened back up our subscription to A Streaming Service and jumped into the new season of Stranger Things. So far it's pretty good, only two episodes in. The main monster seems like it might be a little cheesier than what's come before, kind of like an amalgamation of the monster in The Keep and Freddy Krueger. My disc scan completed after running for a little over four days. It finished a little after we went to bed last night. So this morning I was able to take a few more steps, fix something, and start getting files off that drive! So far all the main folders have or (hopefully) will copied over successfully, just the Music folder won't copy. I can go into it so it's probably a file or small set of files within that are messed up. So once the other folders copy, I can dive in and start seeing what will/won't copy. Definitely progress has been made, at least!
