Okay, so yesterday was working through that production issue and testing our changes and stuff and we got it all deployed out at the end of the day. I got some cds in the mail: v/a: Kilkenny Electroacoustic Research Laboratory Vol. 1 (1965-89) and Neil Quigley: Stretchings 1. The former, I'm pretty sure, is a fake in terms of historical content. It was reminding me of stuff I'd read in that Experimental Music Since 1970 book about Jennifer Walshe who is Irish and has pieces based on made-up experimental music history, even involving Kilkenny but I don't think this is related to her. Maybe inspired by, given the proximity? The latter is a freebie sent along with it, by the curator of the compilation (who may actually be the performer, but all of this is obfuscated). Paul came by with Wynn to borrow the Korg Lambda synth so handed that over to him though I was a bit harried with work at the moment. Between work-work and an early deployment of our fixes, Mary Beth took a quick walk around the neighborhood. The morning I got up and dropped the car off at Firestone to get the a/c looked at. Okay! Now back to work.
