I played a show last night. Before in the afternoon, Mary Beth and I took a brief walk around the neighborhood. It's getting hotter now (apparently yesterday broke the record). I was running behind getting to the show, but I got there. It was up at Crosstown. Pas Musique came through town so it was good to see him again. It was Luís's last show in Memphis as he's moving away at the end of next month. Sad! But good show. Colour Sound Oblivion was up first with acoustic guitar. I played next. At the time I didn't think my sounds were coming out quite as I'd wanted them, didn't quite feel like it was working. But people in the audience seemed to think it was good. Pas Musique was next and his set was great. He ended it by walking around with a big flag. Sci Fi Industries wrapped it up with a great set as well. It was a good time. Got to see people. I picked up a couple cds from Robert (Pas Musique Robert, not myself): Rapoon & Pas Musique: Confluences 1 and Pas: Pure Energy Output Sessions. Was up a bit in the usual post-show energy-whatever so pretty tired now.
