Shoe Talk

Mary Beth and I went on a walk after work yesterday and I got to try out a new knot for my shoelaces. I think it worked, they didn't get loose (it's pretty similar to a regular shoelace knot but the last step where you tie the loops is more involved and is a few steps in this one). We did have a shorter walk as I realized there's something wrong with one of my shoes now. I'd been feeling like my right foot was getting sore after walks for a little while but this time I finally felt like a bump or something in the sole of my right shoe, like there was something in the shoe but there wasn't anything there. I guess it's time for new shoes, but at least I know what had been causing the foot pain, I think. Mary Beth and I ate dinner outside then we sat in the front a bit and we saw a pair of baby squirrels frolicking around the top of a tree and it was pretty damn cute. Later at night I watched Taste of Cherry and it was very good.
