Fanboy

I got a very special package in the mail yesterday with Sonic Youth: In/Out/In and a couple SY shirts: one based around the lyrics to "Flower" with "support the power of women", "use the word:", and "the word is love"; and one that says "fund Texas choice!". So, first real "new" Sonic Youth in over a decade! I'm feeling pretty ecstatic reawakening that long-dormant little obsessive fanboy inside (also thinking about how it's been almost twenty years now since the time I followed them on tour for a week). Also yesterday Mary Beth and I did our Kroger grocery run. After that, I did a small bit of audio "editing" or "correcting" or something. Jacques had asked about the recording of a live stream show from last year. He'd gotten it off youtube but there are some glitch/skips in a few places and he wanted to see if I had an uncorrupted version. I checked but it had done that at the source, so I attempted to do a little smoothing out in those places with a little daw copy/pasting. I think it worked out alright but I sent him multiple versions, including the original, so he can choose. Okay, that's about it.
