Power

I have a new director now (replacing Jason's old promoted-to position) and we got to meet him yesterday. Then I guess he'll be hiring an actual manager (replacing Jason's old promoted-from position that never got filled). We had some ridiculous power outage issues yesterday afternoon/evening. It started in the afternoon where it flickered on and off and on twice in a row but stayed on a while. Then it cut out in the later afternoon for maybe forty-five minutes. It came back on maybe an hour later and then after a while it cut out again and stayed out for a few hours. During all this Mary Beth and I went on a walk. It was nice when our power stayed on. Oh, I feel like I'm getting teased by Duolingo re: Junior again. Last night about midway through my lessons, I got some where Junior's voice had gone away again for some of the exercises. I'd rejoice a little over that but it also had happened like last week or so, for one day, then went completely back, so who knows? I'd given up and just resigned myself to the fact that at least I only have a few more weeks of this, but we'll see. I'd like to know they did the sensible thing but I'm really not counting on it.
