Changes of Plans

The plumber/handyman guy was supposed to come over yesterday to replace the bathroom ceiling that had been damaged from the leaking months ago but he never showed up. I mean, he's the one who called me out of the blue the other day saying he really wanted to come and do it then. Maybe he'll come today, one never knows. After work I went up to the ups store to mail a package and got in there and the line was crazy long the whole length of the store and I thought to myself how I can just do this later and not spend an hour in an omicron line. So that's what I did. Then right after that Kroger called. We had our clicklist pickup scheduled as usual for the bi-weekly Monday night, but he said they wouldn't be able to do it that day and it would probably be a few days, maybe Wednesday or Thursday but he cited covid-related staffing issues and didn't seem so sure about anything. So we ended up just going into the store for a full grocery haul for the first time in a very long time. It didn't end up going too badly. So yeah, that was our big adventure for the night.
