Family Gathering

Last night Mary Beth and I went over to my parents'. We picked up some Jack Pirtle's along the way and while on the way realized we'd forgotten the extra vegetarian (well, pescetarian) dish we'd picked up earlier for my sister so made another stop along the way to get a replacement. The line at Jack Pirtle's was super long and we waited a while but got the food. We met my family (parents, nephews, and sister) out on the back deck. The weather was real nice in the day though by the time everything was getting going the sun was just about completely set and it was getting a little chillier. Also, the light on their deck was out (and is in some kind of complicated enclosure that nobody wanted to bother unscrewing, though a lamp was eventually brought from inside). But we ate and talked and hung out and it was the first time in a very long time that we'd spent time with the family. And that's about it!
