Single Term

So it finally happened! It was weird 'cuz I was over at my parents' house. First time I'd seen any of them since covid started. My mom had just started chemo again on Thursday so my dad wanted me to be over while he was off taking Anthony to a camping thing. Christina was there too. So yeah, when I found out (about Biden winning, and more particularly, Trump losing) I wanted to scream and shout and celebrate, but I couldn't since I was there with my mom. I was a little sad I couldn't celebrate and jump around with Mary Beth. But I did all that internally, I guess. And I gave a good shout later when I got home. The thing throughout the day that had me most amused was the little side story of Giuliani and the Trump team holding a press conference at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia...I mean, Four Seasons Landscaping (you know, the one next to the adult bookstore and by the crematorium in the heart of the industrial area). Shit's straight out of some absurd comedy (like some kind of Police Academy gag or some shit). While there, I ordered us some lunch from Garibaldi's so mom and I both enjoyed those Italian supreme subs. Not a lot else. Was there a while and then went home at night. After the aforementioned shout, Mary Beth and I played a few more games of Lost Cities. Now I wonder if I should celebrate proper and what that even means?
