Mary Beth and I did some errands yesterday. Later at night I watched some more of the files on the avant-garde dvd collection: The Life and Death of 9413 a Hollywood Extra by Robert Florey & Slavko Vorkapich (the expressionist, cutout visuals were pretty impressive); two films by Dimitri Kirsanoff; and Lot in Sodom US by James Sibley Watson & Melville Webber (the visuals in this were pretty incredible, and it feels like the biblical story was more of an excuse to get in a lot of queer action, but that could just be contemporary conjecturing). In other news, it looks like Trump didn't die of covid. Now, I knew when he first got it that the world is too horrible and unjust for that to have happened because nothing in the world could have been more perfect or just or poetic; however, as the weekend progressed some I let myself get a little carried away with fantasies about it. They were fun while they lasted, and now it's back to reality. At least maybe this helps make him look like the incompetent moron that he is? Though that people could even need help seeing that in the first place...
