Took a short walk through the neighborhood yesterday with Mary Beth. Weather is still holding up very nicely. In the afternoon we watched Rififi, which was good. The heist scene was really good. Mary Beth finished up reading Emily Climbs by L. M. Montgomery to me. Now only one left in the trilogy! I forgot to mention my "big adventure" from Saturday. So our shower faucet is leaking a little so I figured I'd change the washer. First went on a big search to find the valve to shut the hot water off. Turns out, unsurprisingly, everything in the basement is a bit of a mess with all the hot/cold red/blue colors switched. Anyway, I eventually figured it out and got the handle off, but the type of faucet isn't the simple kind with a washer, it's a bit more complex and after getting on in there I realized I didn't have the tools to unscrew the stuff deeper in the wall and probably wouldn't know what I was doing if I could even get that far anyway, so I gave up and put everything back as it was. Exciting story, I know. But that's all I've got.
