So I attempted to do some surgery on my laptop's 'a' key and naturally, as always when I attempt such a thing, I just completely broke it. But it's actually a little better this way, typing with just the rubber pad and no key versus a key that responds haphazardly (often not responding at all and just as often responding too well and typing multiple 'a's and especially just having a slightly delayed response). I mean, the pad's a little harder to hit but it's consistent when I do. Late-ish yesterday evening, after dinner, Mary Beth and I took a walk to the park. It was pretty nice out. Nice and cool though while we were in the park heading back it started to rain. It didn't ever start coming down hard or anything so it wasn't too bad. I got a little wiped out from the walk, I think 'cuz of speeding up to try to beat the rain. Then later in the night we watched Fantastic Planet which I enjoyed and I enjoyed even more a short by the same director called Monkey's Teeth. I woke up this morning to the power being out. Actually it was weird 'cuz I woke up to pee and the fan was going and I was able to look at the clock to see what time it was. By the time I got out of the bathroom the fan was slowing down and the clock was blank. So I got up and just showered right away since at least our water's gas heated. At least the outage didn't last too long. Oh and I took my last dosage of antibiotics yesterday so hopefully now my balls are all ship-shape.
