Miedo

I got this cd in the mail yesterday that I ordered on the bandcamp day when I got those other cds a ways back. Well over a month ago. I've got one more coming to me but it was a preorder out in June so that was expected. This one just took a long, long time. Anyway, the cd is: Matana Roberts: Coin Coin Chapter Four: Memphis. Mary Beth and I went on a walk to the park yesterday. Later, we made root beer floats and they were exceptionally good (I made sure to get the root beer well chilled first, a mistake I know I've made by not doing so in the past). We watched The Wages of Fear. It was fun to see it after seeing Sorcerer not too too long ago at Indie Memphis. Of the two, I think I like Sorcerer better but it did take advantage of having such a high benchmark already existing in The Wages of Fear and being able to build on that.
