Work and Work

Yesterday was a bit dominated by work. I had like two different deployment/testing/whatever things at night. Each took a bit less time than expected, but still. My night was a bit chopped up by work. I got a few cds in the mail. Two were from my bandcamp excursion of a few weeks ago: Mira Martin-Gray: Kissing Infinity and The Daughters of Conceptual Sex Death: s/t (both random things I stumbled across while searching bandcamp for things that seemed interesting AND came in a physical cd format). I got a couple others from elsewhere: Halim El-Dabh: Crossing into the Electric Magnetic (just the disc) and v/a: Miniatures Concrètes. I placed that order 'cuz the El-Dabh cd came up very cheap, it's just the disc but I have that cdr version that Halim and his wife put out on their website but the cdr has disc rot and doesn't all play that great. This disc comes from the version that a label put out so it's not on a cdr so since it was cheap it seemed a good way to supplement my messing-up disc. That seller also thew in a few promo cds; one of them might be good, I'll have to spend a little time with them.
