Lunches and Home

It's been a pair of lunch-centric days! Yesterday, with my being home and all, Mary Beth and I went to Chef Tam's. I had some crazy philly cheese/seafood nachos that were really damn good (and the serving was massive). The only negative thing was our server forgot to bring our drinks (anything to drink) until I was almost done eating and these are nachos and salty and thirst-making so after a bit of time I'm just thinking "damn I'm thirsty." Fun note: upon coming home Mary Beth noticed a colorful story display on our back deck's railing. On there corner there was a little spot with a large dusting of nut-crumbs right next to tiny little turds. A squirrel was apparently having a grand time right there. Anyway, worked home the rest of the day. Not a whole lot. Mary Beth and I watched some random episodes of Bob's Burgers. I went in to work today but there was the same issue and most other people on my team ended up working from home. The internet wasn't completely out. There was some issue and they had throttling in place to keep things from going down but speeds were impacted. I didn't notice anything too bad, it was mostly earlier than a lot of people come in anyway. Then it got fixed for real by the time I left. So we were going to have a team lunch today so I didn't bring a lunch, but since most people weren't in the office it was postponed. So I ended up going back home a little before lunch and now I'm working from home the rest of the day. I picked up Kwik Chek on the way home and Mary Beth and I ate our sandwiches sitting out on the deck. Nice! Now back to work I guess!
