First Third

Yesterday I worked a little more on my music for tomorrow. I even squeezed in another sound in there. Really and truly ran out of patch cables to the point I can't even listen on headphones until I hook up the mixer as I plan to use it tomorrow. I should do a practice run of that tonight before I pack up! Last night Mary Beth and I went up to Crosstown to see a live performance of Big Star's Third. I've never really been a fan of Big Star, but that albums does have some songs I like a lot. Overall it was okay. Lots of musicians all over the place. There was even a famous person up there (aside from the Big Star-related semi-famous people...well, does being the bass player in a famous band count as famous or semi-famous too?...). The only slight downer was the person with my least favorite singing voice had my favorite song ("Kanga Roo"). After they did the album they did an additional greatest hits set. Then there was work today and that was pretty standard and now I'm home and all of that boilerplate stuff.
