Leaning on the Everlasting Arms
Oct. 11th, 2019 04:05 pmLast night I went up to Crosstown to see a double feature. First was The Unholy Three with a live score by the Blueshift Ensemble. I'd never seen it before and it was really good. It's an old silent movie. And it has a set a particularly distinct and creepy characters, especially the kid that's a man or whatever. The ending and resolution is a bit pat, but the coda has a nice bit of emotion. After that it was The Night of the Hunter, which is, of course, just fucking great to see on a big screen. Then work today was pretty uneventful. There you have it.
