ateolf: (MEEEEEEERY CHRIIIIIIIISTMAS HAHAHAHA!!!!)
Mary Beth and I went to screen this film short yesterday and give feedback to the director. So we did that and then I rushed to Two Rivers to catch a show which I was just in time for. Revenge Body was first and good though a little on the quiet side. Aster was next and had possibly the best set I've seen him play. The touring act was Id M Theft Able and he was quite good. Electroacoustic with amplified noninstruments and he did a bit with his mouth and mics and stuff too. I picked up a couple of his cds: 2 Autoharps, a Snowmobile, Some Snowplows, a Premature Snowblower; and Teeth Teething. There was a pretty good turnout for the show and it was nice. Work today was a little stressful. I was working to hurry and finish what I'm working on. Was going to stay a little later anyway and think it's about ready now, but right before I'm going home some issue turns up with this thing we're about to demo that I'd worked on. So I stayed way way late trying to figure this shit out. Then there's shit going on with the salesforce api we're calling so I'm like I'll deal with this shit in the morning. Also, my laptop keeps overheating the fuck out of itself and progress has been really really slow. I realized on the way home maybe I have too many projects in my workspace and should close out a few. Goddamn Eclipse (I mean, "Anypoint Studio"). Also, in the afternoon I took a little jaunt to the post office to pick up a package that was supposed to have been delivered. She reaches the driver who said he didn't deliver it because we had a mail hold (1) that doesn't start for a few days, 2) the regular mail was delivered...). Anyway, my efforts weren't in vaid 'cuz he came back and delivered it. Now I'm home and sick of work and shit. Also, recently had a revelation that I don't have to be beholden to dreamwidth's stupid text limit for the Music field. It's not limited the length in the database because my older entries from lj aren't truncated. So it must be in the browser and all I have to do is open them debug tools! So here's my first execution with this slightly-over-80-characters enter.
