Sound Observations

I tried to do a little work on normalizing my samples but the Morphagene does not operate at the same level as I normalized to and I just made everything clip to hell. So I just restored the backup and will make due. I think if I have things at the right levels to be able to adjust it'll work out fine. I went up to Crosstown to see Nadah El Shazly. It was a really good performance. She sang, played Monologue, and played her laptop. So there was a nice cacophony of different sounds. She also had a bass player with her, Luke Stewart of Irreversible Entanglements. Other than that. Ended the night watching some Tuca & Bertie with Mary Beth. We didn't start from the beginning 'cuz she wanted to jump to the episodes she thought were best (skipping the ones she thought were weak). I woke up a little earlier than intended. My shoulder/neck were really sore and it was hard to be back to sleep, though after a while I nodded off a few short times.
