Aside from the usual errand-running, Mary Beth and I spent a good part of the day watching Schitt's Creek. In the middle of it, I went to a show. Nots had an album release in-store at Goner. I ran into Chris Davis (Nashville promoter dude) and talked to him a little bit. Also Luís showed up and I chatted with him. And Amy and Ben briefly. Nots were really good as always. I was in the back of the store and couldn't really see much of 'em but the sound was on point. I think it's the first time I've seen 'em as a three-piece. Instead of having dedicated synth and guitar Natalie goes back and forth between the two and I guess has some minimal overlapping. I picked up the album, Nots: 3 on cd and a couple t-shirts (one of which they were very much trying to get rid of with a low low price!). Talked a little bit with Natalie afterwards. Hung out with Luís and a friend of his up at the Deli but I didn't stay long. Back at home continued the tv-watching with Mary Beth.
