Yesterday Mary Beth and I went out and met my dad for lunch at Huey's in Germantown. Later in the afternoon I tried to recreate my "intended" performance of the other night with my case not powering off constantly. It all went fine this time. Well, I went like eighteen minutes without realizing I hadn't plugged in the ethernet cables that connect the two cases, so a bunch of shit was missing from the sound. I mean, I could tell something didn't seem right but I didn't know just what was wrong. So I figured it out and fixed it and played a good bit longer than I would have. So my new "piece" is even longer than usual. That's fine I guess, it gives the illusion of a long, brooding sort of intro? After that it was back to working on training for work. Then it was to work today and...back to work on training. I'm so close to finishing but not just quite there. Maybe tonight? At least to where I can finish up early in the morning? We shall see. I came home to the Matmos: Plastic Anniversary cd finally waiting for me in the mail. It took them well over a week to get back to me about it, but at least they did. Now I have to get around to sending the vinyl back to them (they provided the shipping label).
