Three Laptops

I got my new work laptop today (well, yesterday when I was out of town). So setting that up and getting things going for my Mulesoft training. Now I've gotta migrate a bunch of shit off my old laptop asap. I'd actually brought my personal laptop to work today since I wasn't expecting the new one to be here already so I could try to do some of the training as nothing else was really working. But then turned out didn't need it after all. Well, it was fun going home carrying three damn laptops in my backpack! Remembered a couple of things about the trip I didn't include previously. I didn't say anything about the motel we stayed in. I mean, it was really fucking cheap, and I guess it showed a bit. Was kind've a crapshack, I mean, far from bottom of the barrel. It was decent enough. It offered what little we needed out of it. It was a little on the cold side up there in Knoxville, especially at night and the blankets were a bit on the thin side. I ended up using my heavy coat (brought it though never ended up actually wearing it out, though I was on the fence with my lighter jacket) as a surrogate blanket and put it over my feet. That worked. Amenities! The other thing is that I finally ended up fixing a very mildly annoying thing about my phone. It's been like two minutes fast for the longest time and I hadn't been able to figure out how to fix it. Well, when we crossed time zones and I updated my clock, there were two times showing in two different places. I finally discovered the setting for syncing the time with the network and it'd been turned off and that fixed the new problem and the longstanding one. Huzzah! Now text messages won't keep appearing out of order when they're sent/received close together!
