Events

Mary Beth and I did some watchin' last night. We watched Event Horizon which was really bad. Aside from its own issues of pacing and script and visual direction, it was a bit of a pastiche: Prince of Darkness, Aliens, Hellraiser, Alien, Alien 3, (teensy splash of 2001, and one little splash (LITERALLY, hoo-hoo) of The Shining's blood scene), and every late 90s movie with overdone bad cgi. We also watched the new episode of The Good Place, finding out it's on Hulu so we don't have to be subjected to the website's ads. Then we went to rewatch it back from the beginning. After two episodes I was tired as hell and passed out on the couch (love seat, really, how do I even manage to sleep on that thing!?). Anyway managed to sleep a really long time (mostly on the real bed which I transferred to after being passed out about an hour), like close to eleven hours. Guess I needed it!
