Short Fuse

Had a magnificent surprise yesterday! I spent most of the afternoon waiting for the triple a guy to get there, but when he finally showed up it was totally worth it! He wanted to have a look at the car and try to jump it first before towing it. So he tried it but it still wasn't working. Then he mentioned maybe it was the fuse. Well, I'd changed the fuse not too long ago, when I changed the battery and I'd check the fuse and it looked intact. But then looking around some, I jiggled it and then my car worked! I remember when I bent the screw tabs wrong at first and then straightened 'em out but they were still kinda janky. Maybe it's tenuous but at least it's a simple problem. And that went from thinking it was going to be a few hundred dollars to absolutely no dollars! So that totally made my day, thanks guy. Even had the shop caught it, even if it wasn't as expensive as the alternator it still would have at least been over a hundred just for the service. Anyway, yeah, sweet afternoon! Not a whole lot else. Mary Beth and I had dinner outside on the back porch watching hummingbirds fly around the high wires. We watched some STTNG (she's been nostalgia binging it lately). We also caught up with the next episode of The Good Place. Then there was work today, not too busy but I did some productive things. After work, I wanted to continue my search for a jacket so I went to three Bargain Hunt stores (and one thrift store next to one of the Bargain Hunts) and had absolutely no luck. The last Bargain Hunt was across the street from a Target so I tried it out and actually finally got lucky. It's kinda similar to my old jacket but it's grey instead of black. It's also a little bigger but I was kinda between sizes 'cuz the other size was just on the side of too tight-ish. So hopefully it works out and I was just damn tired of looking. That took a big hunk of my evening driving all out east!
