Too Much

I got around to watching The Day the Earth Stood Still yesterday. Got some notes and ideas for the live score of it. Then I went and met Jacques and Amy for a Memphis Concrète meeting (the last one before the festival! holy hell!). We went to meet at Cafe Eclectic but it was closed so we went the block over to Dino's. After that Jacques and I went over to the Concourse to check out where gear will be loaded in from and figure out the path to the room upstairs. Then back home to hang out with Mary Beth. We went out and picked up Gus's and took it back home and ate it while watching Mozart in the Jungle. Now it's a new day and I'm tired. Was really busy at work too (not in a terrible way, but in an active and making sure things are getting done sort of way). Then of course getting a bit of stuff coming at me about the festival so more junk to deal with, ugh... It's almost here and then I can stop worrying about everything. Well, first gotta keep putting out fires. Here we go. Left work a little late today. Guy from the Commercial Appeal was supposed to call me after 5 so I hung around a little bit waiting for him to call but then I decided I'd just go home and good thing 'cuz he hasn't called yet. I came home to a package of Klaus Schulze: La Vie Electronique 1. And there you have it.
