It was kind of a weird day yesterday. After running errands and exercising and hastily throwing a patch together, Mary Beth and I went up to the p&h for the show. I was the first one there, though I found out a little later apparently not. Maria Chavez and Christina Carter had showed up just before us (from what I understand, literally minutes before I arrived) and the owner of the p&h was rude to them and told them no one would be there until 10 so they might as well leave. It was a while before I found out that'd happened, but that kinda put a damper on the night. There was a touring band who opened. They were okay, pretty straight rock and not too memorable. Nonconnah played. It was mostly a full lineup. Dominic wasn't there, but Malcolm (of Dinosauria, haven't heard them but seen a bit of him performing online and his stuff is pretty nice) joined us so that was cool. Think it was a pretty good show. Not a huge turnout, but lots of other stuff was going on around the city that night. We're probably done with the p&h which is fine by me. I still don't know the details but that guy was a dick last time we played and what went down last night is even more inexcusable (especially since he knows they make sure the show starts around 9 and...whatever, I don't even need to waste time analyzing bullshit like that). Then home and I finally caught up with sleep. It's mothers' day and I haven't been able to get in touch with my mom yet, just my dad and he hasn't been able to get her out of bed yet. We'll see.
