Got a few cds in the mail yesterday, a Creel Pone order (straight from Australia now) and probably my last music indulgence for a while: v/a: Suomalaista Elektroakustista Musiikkia, Rafael Aponte Ledée: Musica Contemporanea Puertorriqueña, v/a: Electronic Music by Canadian Composers Volume 1/2, and Filipe Pires: Canto Ecuménico • Litania • Homo Sapiens. Anyway, met folks up at Cafe Eclectic for a Memphis Concrète meeting. Got some merchandise from Luís for Thisco's contribution to the gofundme. I did more exercising after I came home. Then I did a little bit of organizing, gathering a few local artists to be in the lineup (some friends, etc.) now that the "big names" are starting to wrap up. Then I recorded the first part for my track that's going to be on a compilation Luís is putting out. It's going to be past/future performers and built around the theme of triangles. This is my concept. I'm excited about it. Word. Now it's Sunday and what should be another relatively eventful day for me (eventful in that there's a couple things I'll be doing, wow).
