To Do

Today was a pretty good day at work. I'd caught up on sleep so I didn't feel so terrible and I actually accomplished a little with the preferences api in spite of still being blocked on the model. I also bought tickets to see The Body pretty soon! So many shows to get excited about! I'd had a meeting with the Crosstown people about my Memphis Concrète festival idea where they'd show me around with what they think they'll have available this year given the confusion of moving and that meeting was for tomorrow, but she had to move it so we moved it to today! So I went straight after work. It's the current smaller room, 130, but it looks pretty good for a scaled back pilot of the festival. And I'm actually getting kind've excited about it again. After it seemed like it fell off when I was looking into it over the summer, I kinda gave up with all the stress that was going on. I kinda got an idea of looking into the Cossitt Library to do it (the awesome building makes a lot of sense too), but I was a little deflated and never followed through. Anyway, when she got back to me kinda recently about doing a scaled-down version it made a good bit of sense. Anyway, not sure what dates will be available if the dates I want will be available or not, but now I'll fill out the form and see what happens! It's been one week exactly now without Horace... at least this can distract me for a moment.
