Lights

Last night was the Stephen King masquerade ball and Mary Beth and I reprised our Shining costumes. Though I swapped out my mostly-hidden collar shirt with a less crappy collar shirt. And I brought along the prop that Mary Beth manufactured: a bit of the infamous carpet pattern with some toy cars taped to it. It was a good time. Matt was there and also Sherry and Mike came later. There were quite a few people dressed from The Shining, but most were Jack and Wendy (only one girl had the same costume for the same scene as Mary Beth). There weren't any Dannys though, until we were leaving and a guy outside had on the same sweatshirt as me.

Today at work was pretty awesome. There was a Diwali potluck and lots and lots of people brought homemade Indian dishes and it was pretty phenomenal. I ate a goddamn ton. Good good times. The awesomeness of today's lunch reminded me of the mediocrity of yesterday's lunch that I forgot to post about! I'm driving to work and realize I just plum forgot my lunch. So I went to the food trucks and didn't recognize any so I tried one. I could tell the meat and the fries were frozen. The fries were "seasoned fries" and I guess the seasoning was just red colored salt. It wasn't the worst thing, but it definitely wasn't worth what I paid and is not recommended (it was called Nomadic or something like that, writing that down so I hopefully remember in the future). Anyway, that's about it for now.
