Cross Crosstown

Memphis Forward had our post-retreat meeting yesterday. Not too eventful, pretty standard stuff. Mary Beth and I ordered pizza and watched some Ben Stiller Show and Hannibal (we're almost at the end, gadzooks!). Today was the first day of our new team member Amogh. We all went out to lunch at Soul Fish. I emailed Crosstown Arts about Memphis Concrète and I got a response. They seem pretty interested in it (hm, though reading over the emails a second time I realized that two people used the word "interesting" so I hope that's not actually a bad sign, unlike the good sign I initially assumed...I mean, *I* actually imply positive things whenever I use the word "interesting"...maybe they're the same?...). Crosstown Arts will be moving into the new Concourse in the old Sears building next year so they're a bit in flux as to what their space will be like. They'll probably keep some of their current spaces (the old Sears building is just across the street from the current location) but they're not sure which yet. They said they'll probably know more about all that in May so she wants to have an in-person meeting sometime around then. I'm pretty excited about it anyway. I need to spend more time hashing shit out with it.
