A Plan for You

Big room planning has been the last two days at work. Pretty good. It's been the first time my team was actually a real team so the first time I've actually done stuff there. And so we were pretty active and it was pretty good. There was a little bit of contention over my team 'cuz we're a shared resource (with very limited resources, being a very small team). Anyway stuff got resolved and other teams took back some of the work on themselves. Also, our shift is definitely changing. I've pretty much just been doing web service stuff (John and Mafaz have had a little bit of other stuff that I hadn't been involved in, but will need to start!). Since the web services touch a database that they've been trying to get rid of, it's more and more becoming a legacy system. Anyway, now we're gonna train the teams that use our web services to actually just make the changes themselves. So it looks like I might be doing a teensy bit of teaching. That's kinda fun. Anyway, I need to brush up on my jms shit, it's been a while. Anyway, today's session ended early so I got home a bit early so that was nice! I guess that's about it for now.
