Education

Right when I was feeling composed and through it, I decided to watch the "Lazarus" video. Okay, yeah, that set me off again just a little bit. I was actually surprised at how good it is. It looks like I'll have to pick it up sometime soon. It's all pretty amazing how he orchestrated his death (or the public perception of his death) and goodbye. How many people could pull that shit off? Last night we had the Memphis for Bernie meetup on Education. It was pretty good. Watched a recent John Oliver clip (which I hadn't seen 'cuz we haven't been able to get into the hbo stuff for a little while). Then it was just talking. Zach was very teacherly and had a handout with all of Bernie's actual policy points on education and some guided questions for us to discuss. We all did that and then we just talked as a room. It was good. Oh yeah, it was at Pyro's and that wasn't good. I waited thirty fucking minutes standing in line (and while their food isn't the worst thing, it's far from worth that shit). Okay, lots of talking afterwards too. And Michelle brought up Bands for Bernie for everyone so I ended up giving my email to a few people so maybe we'll get another influx of interested bands. None yet so we'll see. Today at work there was a photo crew so we all gathered around to pose like we were working together. Anyway, I ended up closest to the camera in the row. We had some pictures taken and then I was asked to not be in the pictures anymore. I guess I'm not intra-company publication good-looking enough. Ah well. Oh and David at work first thing in the morning pulled up that live version of "Station to Station" from Japan in 78 that rules so fucking much (extended synth-making-train-sounds intro and Adrian Belew feedback. We were probably the one two into it, but good stuff.
