The book I didn't originally get finally came Saturday: Statistics in Plain English by Timothy C. Urdan. Good to finally get it 'cuz I'm pretty sure this is the one I should be starting with (so of course it's the one that showed up last). When I got home from work Saturday night and was about to go to bed, I saw it laying on the bed with a few little brown spots on it. And I'm thinking, cats ewww! When I picked it up I noticed the same stuff on the bottom so I look at the bed and there's just a giant puddle of furball it was laying right on top of. Nice. Could have been worse I guess...? What was on the book was pretty light and wiped up easily, but it was not nice on our bed. Anyway, so we practiced yesterday. We had an abbreviated practiced 'cuz my neighbor had to write a paper. But we went through stuff. "Histrionics" is coming along. I practiced playing bass and the Taurus together for the first time in forever. Then we brought in "Terminal Points" (the instrumental intro to "Histrionics") and played that together live for the first time. It's the whole reason I wanted to bring "Histrionics" back for the show that will hopefully happen. At work last night I ended up doing two new things. The guy who I guess normally runs the machine that cuts open and counts the mail wasn't there so they showed me how to do it. Then I ended up finally getting some more data entry training (not that I'm that excited to be doing it, aside from the system being crap I got to see the documentation and guide or whatever and it's a fucking mess: just a folder on the computer with a bunch of random files with some stuff scattered throughout and even if you happen to find the right file, it's mostly just copies of checks with stuff written next to it in marker and barely decipherable). Just got a text from Jacques that the replacement tray cards arrived. Alright.
